Overnight help.... I'm trying to compike a data DVD using Nero 6 and Nero 5. The file is aprox 2.0 GB (a .gho file). After burning the DVD using multisession mode (ISO 1?) the DVD is not recognized from the SUM of DVD-ROMS in my company. Does anybody knows which option in Nero 6 I have to use for a successfuly compilation. Please answer asap yesterday is better.
Hiya oracle, set Nero to DATA DISK, NO MULTISESSION, FINALISE DISK, VERIFY. BTW, if you are burning a Ghost image onto a DVD with Nero, never create a bootable DVD - experience, trust me!! Another question to consider: is the DVD-ROM Reader CAPABLE of reading DVD Recordable? Have Fun... _X_X_X_X_X_[small]Life is just more of the same:[/small]
Thank you for your help it works but according to my experience something strange happens. All previus times (copying files untill 10 MB) multisession mode was working fine. After all previus unsuccessful attempts to write the 2 GB file I discovered that my writter (Toshiba) was unable to rewrite in multisession mode. I was following multisession mode according to Nero which syggests tthat the spesific mode is suitable for non XP operating systems. After your suggestion I discovered also that even booting from floppy the DVD-ROM with the desired data was recognisable from the target PC. Thank for your efforts and for your time...
