urgent help..N*L darndale ..cant find any channels eurovox starview

Cant find channels after a scan ..using 6887 symbol rate and find lots of freq but no good channels ...is this specific to Darndale in Dublin do they have a different rate ..using a eurovox which find channels in another area so its not the box....i really need help urgently can anyone help...

Sorry susie cant help u with dat trying to get my hands on a euro vox in dublin i live in coolock so i'll probably have the same hassle was gonna buy one of some company called eurovox ireland tryin to sus out if they are kosher started a thread but no one seems to have bought one from them can you recommend a decent source i know for certain that eurovox works in kilmore on n*l check the post of a celtic 71 ithink and Scouser they seem to be clued up hope it works out

All you have to do is a re scan
N*L have changed frequencys not codes
Go to menu . user installation put in password 1004 ok
press red button and wait for scan
That should be it
it sould pick up all the stations

I have starview "THE BOX". It works great and i have had no problems with it. Just to let you know! it autorolls.That means( finds the keys).

 

Eurovox autorolls also CITYFAN but it was a freq change and therefore does not involve the codes changes

Yes i know the Eurovox box autorolls, as i mate of mine has one, also when the frequencies went last week , it did'nt affect my mates one! . I was just explaining that i have THE BOX.

hi just back off hols and when i turned on my sv box all the stations were very slow at coming in and when the do it freezes and then bad channel comes up i'm usin 400 ant help

 

If you have a starview box as you seem to have implied please follow these instructions:

Press " Menu "
Select " Factory Settings " - "1668 "
Select " English "
On the main Menu Screen type " 1570 "
Scroll down to EMU and switch from Off to " On "
Press Exit once
Enter " Installation " and choose your service provider "Select " Automatic Scan "

This should find approx 176 channels for you of which 143 are TV channels.

Go back to factory settings, delete all and start again, as if you just got the box . hope i explained , good luck and take you time.

 

thanks got it workin y did that happen causei tought the 400v picks up

 

Codes did not change but the frquencies have V4 looks after autoroll but not a frequency shift.

I input the freq with .5 and then did an autoscan , it found the channels but they all dropped after about two minutes , i rescaned and couldn't find a thing ...i attached a digivox and this worked fine.There are two issues here , it would appear that the tuner in the eurovox 2008 is not a good as the 2006 box as a 2006 box will work. Second it appears that in areas of dublin ie Darndale and ringsend the signal may be reduced causing the eurovox to fail.I'm getting the digivox for these areas , good picture quality and it autorolls.
