I have been trying to mod my friends psp slim.

Its a 2001 model and it is in version 4.01

ive been off the psp scene for a while and i heard these are not hackable.

IS this true? is there a way to hack them now?

i have a magic mem stick (dc6) and pandora battery and whenever i put the battery in the slim just stays at black screen with green light on, the mod screen does not come up.

    plz help, ty in advance.

ok then you have one of the later psp slim models that can not be pandorized yet atleast until they find a way around with the gripshift/sparta exploit

well sony is about to release a security update for 5.03 ofw to stop the exploit so if anything good comes from the exploit like accessing kernel mode and being able to add cfw and iso loaders people will have to stay at 5.02 and lower or avoid buying new psp shipping with 5.03

Fine if you think you can do it without my guide go ahead, just trying to be helpful. Scan it with antivirus if you dont trust it.

why not just post your guide on a forum? like a normal person instead of asking people to download a .rar and risk getting a virus/trojan...

You realy arnt getting this are you!

You dont have to if you dont want too. Its there and if you knew anything about computers you might know that you can actually check to see if a file is infected, which it isnt. Also try reading what I write as its not only a tutorial it contains all the CFW and info you need.

If you would rather bad mouth people that are trying to help maybe you should be on a different forum

i don't recall bad mouthing anyone, and i know a lot about computers i'm just saying people are paranoid about downloading files. so why not post it to a forum like this one and upload the cfw and mms maker to rapidshare or ifile.it so that your guide can get more views and help more

    This maybe why.
First, take on MMS, then :

If PowerLight = "Green" and Screen = "Blank" Then
Msgbox "Congratulations, you have a pandora battery, No MMS"
ElseIf PowerLight = "Green" and Screen = "M33 Install Menu" Then
Msgbox "Congratulations, you have a pandora battery, and an MMS"
ElseIf PowerLight = "Green" and Screen = "Standard XMB" Then
Msgbox "The battery is not a pandora"
    Else
Msgbox "No power light, Something is wrong with the battery"
    End if

    I have a feeling thats not a MMS. ;D
Link for how to make MMS. I used it
