Hi, I have a PC which I built myself a while back and it always use to boot up fine. Well one day it locked up and so I did a manual shut down (holding power button in). Now whenever I turn it on it locks up at the main motherboard boot screen (picture saying amd 64 abit) I can't get into the bios or do anything. It just freezes at this screen. Does anyone know whether the motherboard is broken or anything that I can do to fix this??? PLEASE HELP!

Pull the motherboard battery out, and clear the CMOS by moving the jumper pin. You will have to consult your motherboard manual to figure out where the pins are for clearing the CMOS.

You could try just pulling the battery out for about 15 seconds, put it back in the same way it came out, and try booting.
