OK, This is Probably the oldest thread in the world right? Yeap, I mean, everyone asks this, but since I´ve done alot of crap when buying my computer equipment, I wanted some veteran advice, especially converning compatibility and optimal bearing from the most economic point of view. So here goes: AMD Sempron 2400+ (i know, tell me about it...) Asrock K7S41GX (Yea, yea, I´m poor okay!) 512MB/256MB paints of DRR DRAM (768MB Total) I guess that´s all the relative stuff, more humiliation you don´t need to know... So here goes the question: I want a Graphics Card with 128 MB of RAM, TV-Out, AGP Slot(No PCI Express), Pixel Shaders (2.0 if possible). Whats the lowest priced avaliable card that I can buy with these configurations (Oh, by the way, yes I´m going for a GeForce or Radeon, so if lets suppose card GeForce 1 and Radeon 1 both have same price range but Radeon 1 has a better performance, i´ll spend a little more cash for the radeon. What i dont want is someone offering a 256MB, PCI Express monster eater of worlds videocard which will cost me all my college money to buy. I´d appreciate a quick reponse from folk, cause I´m getting them this week, and i need asap PS: by the way
i strongly recommend the Nvdia GEforce 6600 it capable to run most of the latest games at moderate setting.
budget cost anything up to $100 (more or less) since I live in Argentina and prices vary here a little...
oh, althought I forgot to mention.. if to get a descent graphics card, i'll have to go over my budget, I'll do it, just that I don't want something too good.. I mean i'd like that, but i want something descent for my games and apps (eletronics and computer science student) but nothing way too pricy.. thanks again
