Try doing what we just did here for you. Copy and paste or type in a search engine such as Google, the file [bold]ctor.dll[/bold]. You will receive many many links about this file and also, possibly programs that can remove it. They will state if they are free or not. This practice will help you in the long run if you ever have a problem such as this again.

    Good luck :)

ctor.dll is associated with hotbar which is spyware what version of ad-aware are you using & is it updated. check your add/remove programs in control panel to remove hotbar if listed there. check msconfig/startup to see if hotbar or ctor.dll is in there & uncheck the box. run your anti-spyware programs in safemode to see if it finds anything. run ad-aware se & do a full system scan instead of smart scan
