Urgent,Please Help Me To Get My File Back

    Hello
    I had a simple text file which was created by Notepad. so I got many important information on that text file. but mistakenly I just copied some other data(text) on that notepad file and saved it. so now I can't have my old important texts. will you please tell me what can I do?
    I really need help.

    If you overwrote the file, it's probably lost forever.

    Notepad doesn't create temp or backup files.

    True, but I think vista has an "Older version" tab if you click on the files properties. I don't know which versions of vista supports it, but I'm quoting off a test I took a few months ago from an MS admin class.
