Hi, i just got the US DS Lite and was wondering if flashme 7 works with it... when start up flashme it tells me this: ---------- WARNING ---------- Your firmware is not recognized. if you continue, it may not be possible to restore your firmware to its original state. Push START to continue anyway. ... now, im fairly certain that it probably is the same hardware as the japanese DS lite... but i cant be to sure, i was just wondering if anybody has tried flashing V7 flashme to their US DS Lites?? or if there is a newer ver of flashme that can recognize my DS
lol, give your DS lite a little warning too. ---------WARNING----------- YOU BETTER BOOT UP MY PHAT ROMZ FROM THE SUPERCARD OR SOMETHING NASTY WILL HAPPEN TO YOU!!! NOW WHEN I PUSH START, I EXPECT YOU TO DO THE JOB OR ELSE!!! he he he
im just trying to get flashme on my DS Lite, im not asking about ripping off games or anything, and if you really wana know... ive got M3, i like its mp3 player so sue me. if you really dont know the answer to my question... please dont respond.
lol relax man... im not accussing you or anything. in regard to your issue, did you press START to continue? what happened after that? I've heard some issues from people in the other forum that he and his supplier tried to Flashme 7 on few NDS lite that came from US. He was installing flashme successfully but after that he couldn't get the three NDS lite running again. Black screen. his supplier also had the same problem. There is no newer version of flashme atm.
its cool, i didn't know what to think about your response . other note, i went ahead and installed flashme even tho it couldn't get a check on what ds i had. i had read somewhere that the AUS ver DS lite did work with the current ver of Flashme... in a nutshell Forced Flash anyways (had a hell of a time shorting the SL1) Rebooted DS Lite Removed Passkey .... Welcomed by a happy M3 menu So ya, im pretty positive that Flashme does work on the US DS Lites, ive even got the brightness adjustments and everything , AS FAR AS FLASHME AND US DSL's GO, ITS GREAT!! keep in mind... there is a point near the DS lites SL1 contact that if touched with any metal tool you use short them, will turn off your DSL, its possible that if you got any % into the reflashing that you may have bricked your DS... if your DS wont even turn on, you may have blown a fuse. I collect information pretty fast . Thanks for your input, i really appreicate it
