Hi, I have two Nokia 5190's purchased on eBay. The seller says that phones were last active with VoiceStream, but I am beginning to wonder if the two phones might be "hard locked" (ie. needing cable unlock). I have a working 16K SIM card from an active T-Mobile account. When this card is inserted in either phone, I receive message, "SIM card not accepted." I get the same message if I put an inactive 32K Cingular SIM in the phones. Are there any keystrokes I can enter to determine what carrier phones are locked to, or if they are "cable locked?" If you think I should just try unlocking, here are the two phone specifics. Thanks for providing unlock codes if you think they might work. Hi All, I did Google search for "Nokia 5190 Unlock" and found a very helpful site with a 'DK' domane. I believe the guy's name was Ramsus Petersen. He has an online nokia unlock which worked very well. I was so pleased with the result that I sent a donay shun. Best to all, James
