usb 2.0 ports think they're 1.1

    i just reinstalled windows XP and SP2 and now windows thinks that all of my usb ports are USB 1.1. Whenever i plug something in it says something about how i plugged a hi-speed device into a non hi-speed port. i know that the ports are 2.0 capable because thats what they were before i reinstalled windows.

    any ideas?

    you didn't load the usb2 motherboard driver after installing sp2.
