usb driver problems

    my bak up puter has recently gone wonky, i run a voyager usb modem and suddenly the usb drivers seem to have switched off.
    i ran sisandra and it tells me to enable in BIOS?? to a total puter illiterate thats like askin me to diffuse a nuke ( and will prob have the same effect lol)
    my mobo is a OEM BIOS with a acer ali M1533 Aladin 1V isa bridge and a OPTI Inc 82C861/2/3 firelink usb controler.
    if any one can tell me what to do without totaly f***** it up i would be very gratefull.
    PLZ HELP!!!!

    Restart PC. Press F1 or F2 when it starts booting.
    The BIOS menu should come up.
    Go thru the menu looking for USB.
