question: if i have a us wii and am currently using the usb loader. I want to put some pal and jap games on the HDD. do I still have to use the WiiBrick Blocker first or does the WBFS manager bypass the update when ripping it to the HDD?

Im almost 100% positive it will only rip game data not updates and junk data.

Yeah, I am pretty sure larrylje is right. I've had a few games on my computer and they will be like...4.75 GBs, but when I use WBFS manager to put them on my HDD they only go on as 3.92 GBs or something.

The WBFS manager only transfers actual game data, to save room on your HDD as I believe it was first developed with Flash Drives in mind, which, by their nature, are small in size.

    Edit...typo

Pardon my ignorance, but is the USB loader region free? So if you have a US Wii can you play PAL games on USB loader?

EDIT: That might not sound right. What I mean is does it force NTSC on all games because I'm using a US Wii?

I have 4 or 5 games that are PAL and play fine through USB Loader on my NTSC Wii.

How do you set the USB loader to run PAL games? I figured out to force to run NTSC with running backup game DVD but not USB loader. Please help.
