I have a Lexar MicroSD card that I use with my DSTT card. Yesterday I plugged it in to change the skin for the DSTT. Everything worked fine, just like it should. Today, the computer won't recognize it. It'll see that a new drive is there (drive I or K), but it won't read the memory card and it'll keep saying that the drive is empty. It does the same thing on my dad's computer, but it'll freeze for about 2 minutes before a message will come up saying there's a I/O drive error. I also tried putting the memory card into the card reader from a camera, and it won't show up at all. I also tried a different memory card with the camera card reader, and that one worked fine. What can I do to fix this?

Put the card into a dumb device (camera - using adapter or phone) try and format, if it doesn't work then it is gone - have to buy another

I have already tried that. It works with any other device, but it just won't load on the computer.

Your adapter is most likely bad. have you tried another one?

"Yesterday I plugged it in "

Are you using a USB adapter or an SD card adapter?

@Dailun - I've tried two adapters, and both of them work except with this memory card.
I used both a USB adapter and a SD adapter.

@Mickoz - I've tried rebooting my computer and using different USB slots. Just now I tried putting the USB adapter into the computer without the memory card, and the K drive will show up but it says that there isn't a disk in the drive. It says the same thing with the memory card too.

I don't have anything else that'll read the card. I know the ports do actually work because I tried a different USB drive in all of them and it worked each time.

either a cheap usb reader form ebay or a usb card reader that either takes micro sd direct or in the sd sleeve i bought one in a pound shop but the same one in blue on ebay, can slot sd cards in micro sd, psp pro duo and the other micro card can't remember name, works well on XP vista you need to unplug and plug back in once you start pc, on 7 no idea http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ALL-IN-ONE-US...aphy_MemoryCardReaders_RL?hash=item2a0384c6a4
