Looking for a little direction again. It seems my USB ports on my Gateway are not hi-speed. I'm told that everytime I plug in my ipod or my son's Mp3 player. Is there a way I can change from a 1.1 to the 2.0, or am I stuck with what I have? Downloading on the Mp3 player is painfully slow. Thanks for any advice.

Hi. Yes, I am running XP. Is installing one of these comparable to replacing a CD drive? Thank you for your post.

Comparable? You mean...difficulty wise? PRobably less so...you plug it in and close the case and you're done. No cables to connect (unless you get one that includes a front panel mount, but then it's still VERY easy.)

XP makes USB easy, prior to that, it was a pain.
