USB ports on a tv

    i'm wondering what i can do with these, can i plug in an external hard drive and play a movie i have saved off of it

    I was thinking of getting this model from best buy, it is a samsung LN40B630

    It should work. I just got the PN50B850 a while ago and it works on it with "Samsung Media 2.0". It should work with most of the Series 6-8 on LCD, LED, & Plasma.

    Do you have a link to the TV? I don't think there is a B630 for the 40 inch, there is though for the 52 inch.

    Do you mean the A630? If yes, I think that model doesn't have USB 2.0 Movie, just for music and photos.

    What's your price range, and what size of the TV do you want?
    I can suggest a different Samsung model for you.
