    Hey guys,

this is my first post =)

Well to the problem, i bought a USB Wifi adapter on ebay a week or two ago in the thought of playing my ds online. I have installed the drivers etc but i dont know how to make it an access point. Apariently the wifi adaptor can tap into my cable broadband connection and become an access point.

I dont know how to tap into my cable internet connection so if you could help me that'd be great.

    thanks heaps

you didn't purchase the nintendo wifi adapter therefore it wont work the device you purchased is a wireless card for a computer not a wifi transmitter sorry you got ripped off.

    samsam,

if you can plug that usb device in and it will create a wireless access point just like a wireless router would, then the DS should know the difference.

First concentrate on getting it set up and running on your box. Then see if the DS can see it. The DS only connects to WEP, keep in mind.

Is it supposed to create an access point automaticly??? because when i plug it in it it come up something like no wireless networks in range, so i think it is trying to receive wifi for my computer.

BTW Thanks for your help guys
