Will hd dvds play on standard dvd players and dvd drives. I have a dvd video file that is 22gb in size. If I burn it onto a blank hd dvd will it play on my dvd player. Also is it true that toshiba have ended their hd dvd campaign, does that mean that hd dvd is dead.

a look at the news section on afterdawn might tell you. but yes i believe its dead. you can still use it as a up converter or something for your normal dvds though.
