    Hi,

I downloaded a video that is broken down into seven files. The first video works but all the rest dont. The file extension is an avi. Im new to this and really dont know how to work it. I ran Gspot and this is what i got from it:

    File Truncated.
    521Mb missing
    Divx Style "packed bitstream" AVI
    Open DML (AVI 2.0)
    interleave: 5 vid frames(200ms)
    audio frames: split accross interleaves
    video:87.7mb
    audio:2.09mb
    AVI overhead: 107kb

I was able to get this for the first file only. The other files dont work on Gspot....

Can somebody please point me into the right direction.

    Thanx,

    Johnny

Are the other files also named *.avi, or are they something else?
Sounds like this is some kind of archive or split and they need to
be joined together as one big file.

I think your right but would you know how to put together avi files? I tried to use avi2dvd, avidemux, and whenever i would try to load even the first video it wouldnt work. Or maybe i am not doing it right

You could try AviMux_Gui (v1.17.8- binary): http://www.alexander-noe.com/video/amg/#download Open the first avi and drag the rest in in the order you wish. Highlight all by highlighting the first and then by dragging the cursor over the rest at the same time. Select generate data and in the lower window, highlight audio and select start to name and place as you wish. Take's only a minute or so, not familiar with the other program's at all.
