I don't know much about cds,but many members here are finding out that dvds aren't lasting the 100 years like they thought.It hasn't been around very long so it is hard to tell. I can tell you from the many members here who have the more experience. The lower quality manufacturers discs are breaking down quicker than expected.Some as little as 6 months later. The higher quality manufacturers like taiyo yuden and verbatim are holding up longer.It all comes down to the quality of the dye. This is just 1 of many reasons to get high quality media.
