User Accounts Crashes when i try to change the way users log on and off

Hey guys i am trying to make my original xp log on screen pop up instead of the windows classic one.

Whenever i try to go to user accounts/change the way users log on and off

the damn window crashes

its just closes and doesnt give me an error. I checked for spyware and viruses with about 30 different programs and nothing popped up and i also ran a scandisk. I think if may be a service in svchost that is not running but im not sure which one?

Try running System File Checker. Go to Start > Run. Type "sfc /scannow" (without the quotes). Have your Windows CD handy as it will ask for it.
