Hi, I currently use 1 Click DVD Copy to backup vids to an external hd, usually compressing down to 3-4 Gbs. I was wondering if there was a way I could compress even more to free up space? Thanks

you can make the DVD into an mp4 file and that will save you 2-3 GBs (movie only). But if you're asking to keep it as a DVD (ifo, bup, vob files) then the rule here is the more compression the less quality! You only want to compress enough to fit onto a DVD-5.

Ok, thanks. so, if I use the 1 Click on a dvd and then convert the files into mp4, will I be able to watch the movie using my vlc player? I usually leave them on the external hd and watch them using either vlc or Win media player. Thanks for the help.

    Vlc will play mp4s.
