Ok, so I know there are methods out there where one could have multiple computers turned on and all of them are allowing resources to be used for one task. It has been used for a lot of different things before, and is even used in programs like Digsby.

My question is, how can I do it?

I have an older machine and not a lot of money to upgrade. But, I have more than one older machine. So my logic is, if I can have both PC's running and sharing resources between the two, then I can put off the need to upgrade for a little bit. But I do not know how to do that.

For anyone who is still confused at this point as to what I am trying to do, let me put it in other terms.

All I want to do is have two computers working as one. Have two computers teaming up to do portions of the same task simultaneously.

Anyone know what that is called and/or how I can do it?

    Regards
