Anyone know EXACTLY how this is done? I've seen a few guides on this site awhile ago but never got it to work.

How do you load your backups? If you have no swap magic/modchip etc, then no you can't do it

I have swap magic 3.6 and would like to know if you can use swap magic to boot up a back-up of action replay and use it on back-up games? Or do you need to own a factory pressed action replay to use codes on back-up games?

I have done it beore by:
    1) load swap magic
    2) swap to action replay
    3) load swap magic when action replay asks you to load the game disc
    4) swap to game

Give that a try, but I think a lot of people have trouble doing that for some reason...

^Tried that and still didn't work. Here's what happened

1.put in swap magic 3.6 cd
2.swap in action replay max back-up cd
3.select codes and put in swap magic 3.6 dvd when prompted

Now here's where the problems start. Swap magic loads but when I put in a back-up game it refuses to load it. I always get brought back to the ps2 browser and it gives me the red screen saying "this is not a valid ps2 game."

    Anymore tips?
