    Hi all,

I've just ordered a starview 2 the box and I already have a t***west box. I have my computer modem upstairs in my bedroom and of cause the other cable downstairs connected to the t***west box.

Was wondering can I plug one box in the cable downstairs then run splitter from my modem then run a cable from it to connect the second box upstairs?

Also would I be able to watch different channels on the different boxes?

    Any help appreciated

    Many thanks

yea that should work for u if u use the splitter, but u may loose some quality on the second box ! with 2 boxes u can watch different channels .But when tunibg in sv2 box make sure you set it up on the main cable line, as it may not pick up all the channels if its set up from the slitter !.
Hope this helps u out !

Thanks very much for the advice

Is it worth getting a booster for the upstairs?

I was planning to put the SV2 box downstairs on the main cable and the TW box upstairs sharing the cable with the modem for the internet.

Would a normal coaxial booster work?

    Many thanks once again

It should be ok picking up the channels with the splitter. Id try that first when u get the sv2. Might not need anything else !
