I have a logitech G51 5.1 speaker set for my pc and a really old but still good bose subwoofer (350w).... How would I possible replace the g51 sub with the boseif possible? If theres a tutorial that would also help. Just so you know the cord for the bose is blue and the g51s sub is black. thanks
Depends how the speakers are connected. Typically the subwoofer is the main part of the system, so if you use the subwoofer (which is usually where the amp is) and controller, all you need do is plug the satellite speakers in the back, assuming they're compatible. You can only use them if the satellite connectors will fit the sub.
If it is just a subwoofer (like you would connect to a component stereo system), then you would have to open up the logitec subwoofer, cut the wires goint to the subwoofer itself, and connect them to the bose unit. If there is nothing wrong with the G51sub, then it will not improve your sound quality or power anyway.
