I have a Home Theater receiver and am using the HDMI output. When I plug my cable box or satellite tv box in the Home Theater receiver all I get is a black screen. I'm assuming this is because the satellite and cable boxes outputs an analog signal. Is there anyway I can make this work? I heard using an upconverter might work. If so, how does it make work and do you have a link to a brand/model? If it won't work, is there another way?
what i did was scart from box to tv to view and phono leads red/white to input on home theater. hdmi i pressume is on this so u can look at dvds
