    Hi jedirobin,

You're going to have to tell us what you're doing. Your thread title says you're using DivxToDVD and here you say you're using DVDD and CopyToDVD.

You also say you're trying to burn a IFO file. ? ?

I'm just guessing here as you've supplied no real information ~ I'm guessing that you didn't read any kind of guide or anything just figuring that you were too smart to bother with something like that.

So, with the programs you've named, I'll tell you what any guide would have told you -

    1. Create a folder somewhere, i.e. on your Desktop is fine. Name the folder for the DVD you're working with.
    2. Inside the folder, create another folder and name that one VIDEO_TS. Just like that. It is case sensitive !
    3. Next, Rip your disc with DVDD in the FILE Mode making the destination the VIDEO_TS folder you just made.
    When DVDD is finished,
    Open DVD Shrink.
    Find Shrink here: http://www.dvdshrink.org/where.html
    Click, "Open Files".
    Next, click "Backup".
Under "Select backup target" select "ISO Image and burn with CopyToDVD"

Under "Target Image file" - Browse to your Desktop, and in the "Browse" window, select the little folder at the top which says "Create new folder", name the folder "temp", click "Save" then click "OK".

If you've put a blank disc in your burner's drawer, you'll have a DVD backup in an hour or so.

If you want to do a backup with better quality and a bit of control, check the guide in my sig for Decrypter and Shrink and follow the guide from beginning to end and you then will be able to work without errors.

    Cheers,

    Pete,

Thanks anyway Pete, that info I will keep in mind for the future. I'm still learning and I used those guides.
I was trying to burn using a dvd-r, but couldn't find a program that would do it, I think it may be my burner.

    I wasn't ripping a dvd.
I initially wanted to burn a divx video movie to a dvd, so I can play it on my basic dvd player.
I used divxtodvd to convert the avi to dvd format (IFO, BUP,VOB).
Then used Nero to burn those files to a dvd+R. I dont know if its possible to do it with a dvd-r. (copytodvd would have worked also).

The guides provided were very useful.

Huuummm, perhaps I'm the new one here ~

I re-read your post and it listed DVDD then trying to burn an IFO to disc. How do you decrypt a download ? and why did you list those programs and not say anything at all about the programs you did have and were using OR, did you think you were testing us ?

Perhaps just having a bit "O" fun with the old ScubaPete, Hey ?

Though you'd just write down proggys the you had no use for and kind of chuckle when we couldn't sea the fun of it ?

Telling us how you were using CopyToDVD when all along you were converting files and using Nero.

Pretty funny there, yep you really put one over one on us . . .

    You're pretty crafty . . . . or something . . . .

Yep, out and out lying is pretty Kweel alright . . . .

Got to admit it, it's what we come here for in our spare time, to be lied too, to spend our time trying to help them's who think it's a lark to have us type things out for no reason.

I'll try to remember how you think for the next time . . .

Yep, Lol, you're pretty funny alright, better run and tell your m8ts how great you are -

    You are welcome all,

I couldn't believe anyone was that short in the intelligence department as to start a thread with as much incorrect information as that -

Is it me OR is it our education system ?

    Lol, Well, We continue on . . . .
