Is there any Audio Ripping software available that will use Dual-Core to compress to MP3 - Lame if possible? I am using Audiograbber and my CPU usage is only hitting 50% when compressing - not using the PC for anything else so if I can get both cores running it will half the time. The Affinity of the CPU's are set to use both cores on Audiograbber - so I am thinking the Audiograbber or Lame.dll dont support it OR I am not using the right version. I guess I could set two instances running and put one on each core - but that is a bit fiddly. Currently using Lame 3.98. Doesn't have to be Audiograbber anything that will use 100% CPU usage to compress. Cheers.
Well I just had 2xCD's ripping from my DVDR and DVDRW in 2xAudiograbbers and it did them both faster than I could rip 1xCD on my old single core. Trouble is........half the tracks went missing - so I guess Audiograbber can't handle it. BUT - if I can find a prog that will run on both Cores CD's should rip fast as hell. There is a Lame MT - but it is an .EXE and not a .dll so I have no idea how it works - command line I guess??
