using dvd2svcd, cce sp hangs, cpu 90-100, no writing to disk or progress

    The title says it all.

During use with dvd2svcd my cinema craft encoder apears to be encoding (cpu is running high).

The "time elapsed", "time remaining" and percent completed displays stop.

Have no idea what might be happening....

    Does anyone have any clues?

Bought the sp version (yeah ouch $).
Don't get me wrong, it's a wonderful program. It's small, super quality and lightning fast, but for the price you would think it would have better documentation.

    1. Background operations? What program is using up 90-100% of your CPU?
    2. What are your system specs?
    3. Is your system overclocked? (i.e., hanging from heat problems?)

    Solved Prob:

    1. uninstalled DVD2SVCD
    2. uninstalled AVIsynth
    3. reinstalled DVD2SVCD with avisynth 2 instead of 2.5 or 2.8

    4. works great now
    5. thanks though everyone
