Using DVD2SVCD, I finish encoding with TMPG then it tells me it can't find the bitmap file?

Is this a subtitle problem or is it something altogether seperate? This is a bit of a kick in the teeth when i've waited for hours and then it tells me that there is a problem. _X_X_X_X_X_[small]Alex[/small]

This is DVD2SVCD trying to put a next disk picture at the end of your (s)vcd. This happens when you want to create images of your movies with DVD2SVCD, try getting DVD2SVCD not to make images!

Would that be in the CD Image tab of the prog? If so how would I ask it not to create images?

Click the "cd image" tab and check the "Don't make images" box. From now on dvd2svcd will produce .mpg files instead of .bin/.cue's.

I think I 'll just start again. It's only a test so I'll just do 2 or 3 chapters to make it quicker. I'll let u no how I go with it.

    Dela,

I got the two files, Winmap, encoded_audio_1 with 4183kb and I got Real, Encoded_video with 52533kb, but I don't know how to burn them with Nero. If you could help me out one more time, then that'd be brilliant.

    Please

    Thanx

    first get tmpgenc. http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_tools/tmpgenc.cfm

now in tmpgenc click file - mpeg tools. Click the multiplex tab and click add. add the video and audio file.

Now you have to enter whatever it is that you are creating. You will see file of type with Mpeg-1 System (automatic) and Video CD etc etc. Use whichever one you have created. Type an output for your file and make sure it ends with .mpg. Click Run

Now in Nero, you might get the wizard at startup. The wizard is when it asks you if you want to creat a dvd/cd click next or if you want to comile a new cd or copy a cd. If you get that click the close wizard button. You should now get a new compilation window and thats what you want. If you're creating vcd, then select Video CD from the left hand side and click new. If SVCD then click Super Video CD and click new.

Now you can simply drag the mpg file you just multiplexed with tmpgenc from the file browser to the compilation! it will check the file to see if it is standard and when it is done you can simply click file - write cd.

    hope you can follow that!

I already got TMPG. DVD2SVCD uses it to encode automatically (by the way, TMPGEnc opens and waits to be given the manual "OK" click B4 it will open the prog. Is there any way to get it to open right away?)
All the rest seems to be fine. I'm at work now so I will have to wait patiently B4 I can give all that a go.

I don't know any way you could change that I use the Cinema Craft Encoder with DVD2SVCD.
