Okay, so I'm an idiot and didn't think this thru.... that's why i need your help i bought a stock xbox hd from ebay and it should come any day now. seeing as he took it out of a working xbox im assuming it works. wouldn't it be locked tho? The question is, however, I have a working 40 gb HD in my softmodded xbox, with its eeprom and stuff. How can I unlock this new Stock HD that I'm being sent?? Can it be done on xboxHDM? please help!
Read the thread Hotswap by the return which can be found doing a search on here, there you will find full details on how to unlock your Hdd and it comes with pics so you cant make a mistake, just make sure you follow all of what he says including removal of your pc Hdd when attempting his tut.
I will. I haven't got the HD yet, should come this week. and I'm reading thru the thread now. Hopefully it only takes an xbox and a PC, that's what im reading so far.
I have used that myself and found it very useful, just stick to all of what it says and keep me posted dude!
