    newbie
wondering if it is common to use multiple programs, to take advantage of the best features of each. For example, I was looking into software to adjust color, brightness etc. and found something called Enhance Movie, which offers many adjustment options. Link is

    http://movavi.com/enhancemovie/filters/magic.html

I don't know if it is unusual for a program to offer so many adjustment options.

would it be common to use something like that for the adjustment features while using another program ( eg., windows movie maker, adobe premier, ulead or whatever) for other functions? If you use multiple programs, how do you switch back and forth?

I have not purchased anything yet, although i have windows movie maker on my computer ( came as part of sp2 ) .

Any suggestions for a good combination of programs and how you use them? I guess it depends on what i'm going to be doing, right? mostly capturing from camcorder or analog video converter, cutting out unwanted footage, correcting color and brightness, etc., making transitions, burning dvd.

    thanks

You can use any combination of programs to enhance or reauthor your videos if you like. If the videos are converted into popular formats (e.g. avi, mpeg), then they would be recognized by most programs. On the other hand, you may also want to back up the original videos in case problem occurs (e.g. sync.).

No problem. I also visited the site you named, seems quite a nice program.
