using Nero 9 reloaded to make a dvd

    I'm having a problem in making a dvd from a file I downloaded from graboid.It's Alvin and the Chipmunks in avi.What do I have to do to burn it to a dvd that I can watch on my tv's dvd player? Thanks for any help,I'm very new at this.
