I have a lite on stand alone DVD recorder for my T.V. - The question is: How do I use Nero 6.6 to copy the disc as is after I copy a show from the TV. - The it creates two folders on the DVD that I see on the computer. - Do I copy the two file folders with Nero or just the large one? - Is there a guide for copying exact replica's of these recording that I create on a stand alone DVD recorder, they are not copy right or anything like that. - I just don't want to have to record the show twice when it would be much faster and convient to use my computer. Thanks, T
If you want the whole disk just use the copy dvd in Nero Don't forget to change your burn speed to what you want
I have tried to use the copy disc but it only wants to copy the first track, I think it's the menu track. - There are two folders and the first track dose not contain the TS files it is the second track. - When I put the disc in and hit copy disc in NERO it just reads the first track and it's like 10 seconds then it's asking for the blank. - When I go to explorer and look at the disc contents it shows two folders one is: VIDEO_RM and the other is VIDEO_TS. The first folder I'm sure is the menu that I see whenever i put it in the player. - How do I copy the entire disc? Including the menu's. Disk copy on Nero says that it will only copy one track.
This may sound a little strange but give it a go. Download 21 day free trial of AnyDVD available from slysoft site and have that running in the background while you are backing up the disc using Nero Recode.
Go back to Nero and use the Burning Rom and this time, when you compilation screen opens just choose DVD Video Files and when the Nero BR screen comes up drab the VIDEO_TS file and not the RMfile over. The RM file has something to do with somekind of Ram file, best answer is try this and see if it works. Otherwise you will have to do some googling on VIDEO_RM and see about conversion.
