There's a free trail version of Nero on the Nero website (funnily enough)

    http://www.Ahead.de

But is there a full version? One that can be used continuously?

Of course there is a full version, you pay Ahead and they send you a serial number.

    Then
    a) you ought to read the forum rules and
    b) you ought to bugger off and find the answer yourself

Ok. Firstly, there's no need to be rude. Secondly, what are the forum rules?

Ok. Please help me. I bought from the Ahead web-site a serial number, and I now have a working version of Nero. But how do I use it? I followed the steps on his website, using DVD Decrypter and then DVD 2One, but how on earth do I use Nero?

Open it up in full mode, start the wizard choose 'DVD' as the format then choose DVD Video as the project.

This will create two folders VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS.
Drag all the VOB's and IFO's and BUPs that you have into the VIDEO_TS folder and burn.

So do I need to have the disc in the drive, even though I've gt it all stored on my PC from using DVD Decrypter and DVD 2One? If not, where will I find these folders that I already have?

I copied the DVD to my hard-drive using DVD Decrypter. Then, I located the file in DVD 2One, and did whatever it is that DVD 2One does (I think that it makes the film fit on 1 disc, but i really dunno). So, on Nero, how do I locate the now modified agin (by DVD2One) file so that I can burn it to DVD? Do I need to have the original disc in the DVD drive at the same time as a blank one in the writer drive?

with dvd2one, you should have specified WHICH folder you wanted the files to go in after processing (destination, is a good clue)

I use a folder named VIDEO_TS (that I created previously)

Then when dvd2one has finished all I need to do is DRAG the contents/folder into my dvd compilation.

If u use malums suggestion then all u need to do is drag ALL the files (created by dvd2one in ur DESTINATION folder) into the VIDEO_TS folder on nero, and it will work.

Once u have ripped and processed the dvd, you do not need the original AT ALL.

Obviously u need a blank dvd in the writer for nero to write to (I Think!!!)

But when I open the folder that I created previously, there are 9 VIDEO_TS files. Which one do I want to use?

Read a guide, what's the point of repeating the information here (probably not as well as it is written in a guide anyway)

Where did u get 9 VIDEO_TS files from you should have something similar to the following:

    VIDEO_TS.IFO
    VIDEO_TS.BUP
    VTS_01.IFO
    VTS_01.BUP
    VTS_01_01.VOB
    VTS_01_02.VOB
    VTS_01_03.VOB
    VTS_01_04.VOB
    VTS_01_05.VOB

If u have not got something similar IT WILL NOT WORK, u will have to check ur method cos, I can't believe dvd2one will give u anything different unless you have been dragging and dropping manually.

If you have got files similar to the above, then just DRAG ALL of those files into the VIDEO_TS folder in nero if u are doing what Malum told u earlier.
