Hi I was wondering how to set up my dreambox so that two tvs can watch it. I know that they'd have to be on the same channel, how can i acheive this?

    Thanks

no RF output on dreambox so you need to get a modulator and connect your scart lead to it then use the RF output on modulator to run to whatever tv"s you want

i dont really now the dreambox but the pic ive seen of it shows it has a scart and the composite ports ( the red white and yellow) so id say use the scart to 1 tv and a composite scart adapter to the other tv

what i meant was it would be easier to run along coax cable from modulator rather than a long composite lead

I offered my opinion like anyone else did, get a cheap Dreambox, 2nd hand or new for about 50 odd notes, rathur than dickying about with a load of leads that may cost a few bob anyways and I answered the OP when he metioned one for 80 quid, which I find to be expensive and mentioned dealextreme for about 58 Euros delivered based on the current exchange rate

Dont see how I was abrupt in any of my responses above

buddy, when you have been about as long as I have and helped or assisted folk like I have over the years, then you really dont know me then do you, I am straight to the point, some like it, some dont, if some one asks or posts a question, I will be as straight as can be and clear and concise as can be and as helpful as can be, with any info I can help with, not my fault some folk are a little sensitive to someone being to direct, what I said above wasnt ment to be rude to or disrespectful to the OP, it was just a short answer, get a second bloody box, simple as, depending on your demenour, you can take that as straight answer or being abrupt, whichever catorgory you fall into.

So, methememb, if you found the above to abrupt, sorry ya took it that way, it wasnt aimed at ya in a rude way,

Mickah gave his opinion, he wasnt rude, cheeky or insulting so i dont get methememb and dyllo's posts, if thats the things folk dish out to others that try to help then maybe those folk should stop asking question cos clearly they dont like the answers

agreed. mickah has been around for ages and gives solid advice. so be less sensitive. you must remember that its difficult to continually answer the same questions every day without being just a little short with your answers
