Hi all, I wanted to buy the "Nintendo DS Lite Handheld Console with Guitar Hero: On Tour" bundle from amazon (uk) and wanted to know if the R4 will work on this? Does anyone have any past experiences? That is: I want to use the R4 to play other games, not guitar hero itself. They also have "DS Lite Turquoise", would this work too? Also I have an old M3-SD & passcard (from my old DS which broke T_T), would this also work with either of these DS lites? Could I play GBA games with the M3 or a possible DS firmware upgrade on these "new editions" might have blocked that? Is there any compatibility resource out there on the interwebz? cos google failed me.
Bundle - yes - ALL DS lites are basically the same - colour, branding=NO difference If you don't want to buy the bundle, you can buy the guitar grip from dealextreme.com for $8 Do not be tempted to upgrade the DS firmware, no need, use a slot 1 flashcart, R4 M3 etc, to play GBA games you need a slot 2 card as well eg M3 expansion, EZ 3 in 1 etc
