    When I use SmartRipper to rip a specific VOB file, it gets to a certain point and then stops. This happens with 2 of the VOB files I am trying to rip. I also have errors on these files using other programs. Here is where it stops working:

    It slows down right before this point, then stops completely. I haven't run it long enough to even see if it still goes at that speed, and I don't think it does. Any help? Thanks!

    well, the latest smartripper is almost 4 yrs old by now and thus you shouldnt be too surprised when you come across newer protection schemes

    use dvddecrypter 3.4.5.0 or dvdfab decrypter

    +++++++++++++

    on the other hand your disc may be scratched / dirty

    UncasMS is correct. In your other thread DVDDecrypter could not rip it because it gave you a read error. It has to be a bad disk you are copying. You might though tell DVDDecrypter to ignore the read errors and see what happens but if it continues to happen then the disk is bad. You will need to get another copy of the movie you are trying
