using The Box super in county clare ireland, pls help

    Hi all,
    i live in county clare in ireland and have the box super but wont work displaying channel failed so i took it to a friends place in a different county and it works.pls do any body knows why?,is it becouse we have chorus (cable tv) in county clare and they have NTL(cable tv)? PLEASE HELP!
