I downloaded this and when i burned a dvd it turned out fine no errors or anything but when i played the dvd back on my dvd player in big white letters kept popping up in the middle of the screen telling me to visit a site (i guess their site) and buy a unlock key so the message will disappear....what is that all about? And by buying this unlock key how is it gonna unlock something that is already written on a disc?

convertxtodvd is free to try but automatically inserts a "watermark" on all projects. Once you purchase the registration code, this goes away. I assume this watermark is what you're talking about

Yes thats what i'm talking about...the watermark...But by buying this will it erase the mark on my already written dvd or would i have to burn the same project over again?...Also i have nero for burning so would i even need to buy this and how much does it cost? The main reason why i tried it was cause i don't know how to convert files into vob format using nero or if you even can...can you convert to vob using nero?...the reason why i wanna know cause i was told in a previous thread this will solve my transcode problem using nero...cause the transcoding just stops but the elapsed time keeps moving but no progress...you can let it run for hours and it will nev er finish once it stops

once you purchase the registration code for convertxtodvd, the watermark will no longer be automatically inserted...but your previously made projects are doomed to bear the watermark, no way to remove it once it's made. You can use Nero to do the same thing as convertxtodvd (well, supposedly anyway...it seems to screw up quite a bit with syncing the audio to video properly). VOB files are just DVD files. Any software that says it converts to dvd format is making VOB files. All of this is and more is defined very nicely by the guides available on this website. Go here and check it out to educate yourself about the basics: http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/. You've got me on your error, but i see you already have this addressed in another thread so hopefully someone knows.
