Using Zune without Zune software?

    I have a 4GB Zune and really don't like the software. Is there any way to just drag-and-drop mp3 files without using the Zune software?

    I believe WMP 11 will do that using the "Sync" tab.

    No, WMP doesn't allow you to sync, which sucks. But I did find out how to do it after some more searching. There is a patch that allows you to treat your Zune like an external hard drive, so you don't have to run that crappy application. If you're interested in doing this, do a web search for "zunehdpatch.exe". When you run the .exe file, it may say the patch failed, like mine did, but it actually didn't. Now you can just drag and drop your music to your device, yay!
