I want to back up my 6 unreal torunament 2004 CDs to one DVD for easier install (no swapping discs) and so I don't need to touch my CD (keep them from harm)

How would I ago about doing this?

i dont htink you can because the installers on these discs are specificaly made to work with CD's only...
the only thing you can do is to backup all cds to cds...

Well, actually I got it to work with the 5 discs to DVD, and then all I have to do is swap in the play disc when it is done. Maybe soon I will try the play disc to DVD also so all 6 are on one disc.

It really wasn't that difficult, just the time it takes to copy all the files to there designated folders and from the CDs to the hard drive.

I know that this has been done for doom3 for cds to one DVD.I need to find out myself because I have UT2004 on 6 discs.I have doom 3 on a DVD but I didn't convert it over. But it is nice not to have to put in disc after disc.

Yes it is possible and quite easy. Takes a bit of time for waiting for files to transfer.
