Utorrent ip filter

    I remember seeing one of these as an add on the Utorrent but couldn't figure out how to set it up and test it.

    alright thanks but is there a way to view what ip address its blocking or see it working

    They are logged as they are blocked in the logger tab I do believe.

    Yes I do have IP's logged in my tab. Have you enabled the ipfilter in settings?

    Aight I got it up and running now forgot to run the update on the desktop. Thanks for all the help.

    Is there any mileage in using the utorrent ip filter if Block List Mgr is being used (in Peer Guardian 2) ? - http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/631385#3821281

    ..or (if something like BLM is being used) maybe the ip filter is useful just for rooting out fake peers then ?

    edit- From what little i've read it would seem that BLM is sufficient, as is PG2, not sure the ip filter is needed over and above BLM/PG2..
