There seems to be some kind of conflict with Utorrent & Limewire. When I try to download something from Utorrent then click on "Download this torrent then open" limeiwre will kick in. I never had this issue before.
I believe that is from Limewire forcing itself to be the default program for .torrent files. In uTorrent under Options>Preferences>General you can tick the Check Association on Startup box to prevent this in the future and there is a button to have uTorrent associate with .torrent files and be the default for them. I am not familiar with Limewire, you could check and see if its auto associating with .torrent is an option you can disable.
