Hi I am new to this forum and from what I seen its very helpful. I have a moto V220 with the MPT, the latest version, and the problem I am having is that I have some .wav files that I would like to use as a ringtone and when I transfer the files they transfer ok but when I try to play them on the phone it tells me that the file is corrupt, so I use the MPT to convert the wav files into mp3s and I get the same message. I checked to see if my codec for the mp3 was in advanced and it is.l I think the wav files are 8bit 1600 mhz, is the v220 able to play wav files or do i have to convert them and if so what do i need to use to convert them or is there a certain format that these files must be in to use?

    thanks
    Paul

mp3's but you have to cut them down so there are not to big
and save them in mono to make it smaller....it works fine for me i use Sound Forge 8 and they work..i have the v220 phone...
