Can connect to my phone with USb and can use Phone Tools up to a point. Have edited phone book etc. However when I copy an MP3 file
using multi media studio file transfer, it says 'file transferred, but it's not there! I've tried this with various MP3 files to no avail. Any advice would be appreciated.

Not sure on this one..is it too long. Should only be 30 secs. Do you have the most current version? I think it's 4.1 or 4.2 or something like that. If not you may have to keep doing a live update until you get the most current ver...at least I did!

not sure if this is the problem but is your phone's memory too full? maybe delete some other stuff on the phone that you have put on?
I'm not sure if you want to download a different version, some people have had problems with 4.0, not completely sure though...happy hunting.

Definitely, but after confirmation of transfer, it's not there!

Did a 'master reset' and all is as it should be.

I have a question about a transflash card that i bought, 128mb i put it in my phone, formatted it, and then i use the usb cable and mobile phone tools to try and get mp3s on the card, but an error shows up saying that the format is not correct although i know it is mp3. Juts curious if anyone knows what this means and how to fix it.

the MP3 files have to have the correct bitrate and all that jazz. you can find the requirements for you phone on web. they are somewhat low quality but they sound good on your phone anyway......
