    Hi,
I recently flashed/flexed my V300 to V600, did not face any problems infact I think the V300 lag is gone and the camera's much more responsive. Due to a harddrive crash, I had to reinstall windows 2000 completely and after reinstalling MPT 3.11 I reconnected my phone but windows refuses to install anything from the Mobile Phone Tools\inf folder...... Tried to autoupdate MPT but nothing happens!!!
All I get is this message:
"An error occurred during the installation of the device" and
"The installation failed because a function driver was not specified for this driver instance"....
    Appreciate any help!!!!
    Indiana

Downloaded a set of drivers from www.comunidad-motorola.com. Pointed the windoze installer to manually install the driver file even though windows kept complaining!!! Once the motorla USB modem was recognised it was all smooth sailing. Might not be of much use to most of you folk but hope this might be of use to all those poor souls whose windoze just plain refuses to install the drivers!!!
