V550 Ringtone Problems

    Hello,

    Bought a V550 and a data cable to upload midi's and MP3 to use as ringtones (using p2kman)

    The upload works fine and I can listen to them once on the phone.

    BUT!

    When I select "Apply as Ringtone"...and then call my phone, the ringtone donesn't ring!

    What am I doing wrong?

    Also, I noticed that the "HELLO MOTO" MP3 is on my phone, according to p2kman...but when I look on my phone, I can't find it!

    Where is the "HELLO MOTO" MP3 tone?

    Any help appreaciated,

    Have a question also about your data cable. Would that data cable work on a v551 and where would I get one at?

    I got my USB data cable from eBay.

    www.ebay.co.uk

    Search for "Motorola usb data cable" and it will show all who stock it.

    It will tell you which are compatible with the V551
