V9 and knife trick

Hi i've herd somwhare that the v9 ps2 doesn't have the pin is this true? if so is there any way to get around this?

 

mine does, i used the knife trick and it worked fine.

 

the knife trick thats risky shoveing a knife into the ps2 and hope you didn't tear it apart why don't you just make a slide card there easy to make. if i were you i would just buy a good chip and then install it and not have to worry swaping just put the disc in and it works instead of swaping
