V9 Matrix Infinity

    I would say that they are as difficult as each other to install. The Matrix Infinity is definately not an easy install for novices. I installed mine and found it difficult. Although i'm an auto electrician by trade I had never worked on such small circuit boards and chips before. If you have soldering experience and are quite good at it, install it yourself if you have the confidence. I would advice taking your PS2 apart first and take a look at the points you need to solder, if you still feel confident then go for it otherwise get a pro to install it for you.

    I do have a picture of an install which I followed to help me install mine, its quite useful and shows how to do a neat job. Unfortunately I dont know how to put pictures on here, if someone can tell me then i'll put it on.

    There is a great picture of a v9 matrix infinity install job there. I know u have a version 7 but its just to give u an idea of how it should look.
